Your New Chapter

I focus on improving the mental health of women.

My practice focuses on women and the glorious and, and not so glorious, life stages through which we evolve. Whether you are beginning a relationship, going through a divorce, preparing for children, experiencing an empty nest, or having fertility issues, you will feel supported, and we will work in partnership as you develop resilience to face anticipated and unexpected life challenges.

Regardless of your reason for seeking therapy, we will identify and understand how your stressors are impacting your life and develop strategies for managing your concerns.

Wondering if therapy is right for you? Book a free 15-minute consultation and I look forward to helping you write your new life chapter.

About Anna

I have taken many career and personal pivots and I bring these experiences and education into our sessions. Our sessions will be infused with compassion, patience, empathy, and humor. My desire to practice psychotherapy stems from my wish for people to be intentional in achieving their unique potential. I hold a PhD in Organizational Behavioural, Masters degrees in Rehabilitation Medicine (MSc) and Counselling and Psychotherapy (MA), and have worked as an Executive in public and private organizations. I have a special interest in women’s mental health, and I obtained further education and a certificate as a women’s mental health specialist.

You may be undergoing many life changes.  I have experience in working with the following; however, this is not an exhaustive list:

AREAS OF FOCUS

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Life stress

  • Low confidence

  • Infertility and Pregnancy Loss

  • Menopause

  • Relationship Changes and Divorce

  • Work Stress and Burn-Out

  • Career Changes

  • Identity and Self-development

MY APPROACH

I use a goal-oriented and strength-based approach in therapy and lean on my academic and business backgrounds to use evidence-based techniques based on neuroscience and psychological research.

Your sessions can be in-person, in a calm mid-town setting, or through a secure virtual web platform. I believe, and research shows, that the relationship between the therapist and client is the key to meaningful and effective therapy. Your free 15-minute consultation session is to check out whether you and I are a good fit, with no obligation to continue.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you write the next new chapter of your life!
